Welcome to our family of learners
A hybrid learning community for ages 6-13
Flora & Fauna is a relationship- centered hybrid learning community in Tucker, Georgia offering strong academics, mixed-age learning, meaningful connections to nature, and a thoughtfully grounded approach to childhood and education. Our forested campus includes outdoor classrooms, gardens as well as indoor learning spaces where students engage in rich literature, artistic practice, storytelling, handwork, and nature-based experiences designed to cultivate curiosity, creativity, attentiveness, and connection.
2026-2027 Program
Forest Explorers (Grade 1&2)- Primary cohort spends much of the day learning through movement, storytelling, games, artistic practice, nature exploration, and hands-on experiences. A developmentally appropriate period of structured academics is thoughtfully woven into the rhythm of the day.
Forest Friends (Grade 3)
Forest Keepers (Grades 4&5)- Elementary cohorts begin to step more deeply into structured academic learning while continuing to experience a school day rooted in movement, creativity, outdoor exploration, and meaningful community.
Forest Trackers (Grades 6&7)- Older learners enter a season of deeper academic exploration with growing independence, responsibility, and intellectual engagement. Through rich discussions, writing, literature, artistic work, and meaningful study, students continue developing focus, discernment, and thoughtful participation in the world around them.

9:30-2:30
Forest Fridays- stand-alone outdoor enrichment day that may also be added to a student’s weekly experience at Flora & Fauna. Rooted in seasonal rhythms and nature study, students spend time outdoors engaging in storytelling, nature journaling, handwork, games, observation, and thematic studies on our forested campus.
